Merilba Estate is where the magic happens; where grapes grown in the Merilba vineyard are turned into cool climate wines.

There’s something about wine tasting in the vineyards where the wine was grown that makes the experience all the more enjoyable. The beautiful Merilba Estate is one of the region’s cool-climate vineyards where you can do just that while sampling their selections of locally grown Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. Complete the experience with share plates of food made using local ingredients and products while soaking up the views over the Honeysuckle Ranges. 

The impressive cellar door is housed in a building that has seen a number of uses over its 150 year history. Originally a stable for the coach lines and then reused as a shearing shed for the next 100 years, the building has been impeccably restored, renovated and reinvented.

Visitors can choose to relax in front of a roaring open fire, sit at full length windows and take in the amazing view of the Honeysuckle Ranges, or indulge in a delicious meal at the restaurant and enjoy a bottle of wine.

Opening Hours
Merilba's Cellar Door is currently closed due to ongoing difficulties from the drought and pandemic. It will hopefully re-open early 2023.
