Watch this space for details of the official opening of "Sunny Jim Mackay of Uralla . . . Best Batsman in the World"! to be followed by a dinner at the Mill.

Sunny Jim scored 203, 90, 194, 105, 102* and 136 for New South Wales in the 1905/06 season, as well as six centuries for his club side, Burwood.  He was the first to score two centuries in a Sheffield Shield match. His prolific scoring at club and state levels rivaled that of Bradman 25 years later.

Exhibition was to be officially opened on Saturday 21 March, 2020, by Malcolm Knox, Walkley Award winning Sports Journalist from Sydney, who was also to have been Guest Speaker at the Celebration Dinner immediately afterwards.

The officers and volunteers at McCrossin's Mill Museum and Function Centre wish you all good health during the current pandemic restrictions.
