AUSTRALIA DAY 2022 URALLA

11.00 am STREET  PROCESSION  -  Along Bridge Street from Park Street corner to Alma Park, via Hill Street. Those walking may join in at Salisbury Street corner. Included in the parade will be Armidale Pipe Band, fire brigades, vintage machinery and cars, Tribute to Tradies, and the Australia Day Ambassador, foundation member of The Seekers, Keith Potger AO. 

DECORATED BIKE COMPETITION for children, with cash prizes for best bike decorated by a boy and best bike decorated by a girl.  Bikes will take part in the procession for judging.

ENTERTAINMENT by Armidale Pipe Band.

OFFICIAL CEREMONY  – Including flag raising, National Anthem, Australian Citizenship Ceremony, award presentations, and address by Ambassador,  Keith Potger AO, sponsored by Australia Day Council of N.S.W. and National Australia Day Council. 

LOLLY  SCRAMBLE – Children only! 

TALENT QUEST – Entries open to all Uralla Shire residents.

Variety covers any form of entertainment.  Groups – to include at least one Uralla Shire resident.  Cash prizes.  Come and join in the fun – enter the talent quest, and maybe win a cash prize! 

Barbeque, hot dogs, tea, coffee, damper, sandwiches, cakes, slices, drinks will be on sale, and a jumping castle, bungee tramp, and face painting for children.
