Thunderbolts Festival is Uralla’s annual Community Festival, held in conjunction with the Harleys for Humanity “Turkey Run” from Newcastle to Uralla.
2011 is the 10 year anniversary of Harleys for Humanity, come and celebrate!

- Friday 28th bikes 5pm ride into Uralla
- And land at the Turkey Run Headquarters, the Uralla Bowling Club
- Raffles, smorgasbord, live entertainment. Everyone is welcome!
- Saturday 29th Bush Poets Breakfast from 7am Uralla Bowlo
- Throughout the day the Uralla Bowlo Bush Poetry Competition will continue
- 11am Jobs Australia Street Parade: featuring over 500 bikes leading parade, fire engines blaring, colourful school & community floats, of course Captain Thunderbolt on horseback, Classic Cars and Hot Rods.
- The Festival is held at Alma Park until 4pm with over 60 market stalls
- Essential Energy Battle of the Bands with prize money totalling $1000 plus a studio recording
- Phoenix Foundry Billycart Derby
- All Free activities;
